So I’ve finally gotten around to starting a new blog. I had one over a year ago for a college event I was part of, Shorts and Giggles . I always kept meaning to update it and start again, but it took until now, when I have ran out of ways to put off college assignments, to do it!

I was advised to use wordpress over blogspot. I can’t actually remember the reasons why (story of my life!) but the source is usually quite reliable when it comes to all things technology and Internet related.

I’m currently being the worlds greatest procrastinator. I was already superb at doing this, but as of late I have found myself really excelling in it. It was beginning to worry me quite a lot, as I was also finding myself unnaturally tired and un-motivated. I had suffered previously from low iron levels so I had some tests done a few months ago. It turns out I’m suffering from an under active thyroid. So it’s good to know I actually have something to blame my procrastination on! If you care to read more about under active and over-active thyroid, here’s a link to VHI website explaining it and its symptoms.

As a result I have been more susceptible to illness and infection. It really is a damn nasty thing to have, but in a few weeks it will hopefully under control.

On a brighter note, I finish my four years of college this year. I currently study in IADT Dun Laoghaire , doing a BA in Business Studies and Arts Management. I love the course, but really am finding this year a struggle. There’s just so much going on everywhere, it’s very hard to maintain a focus and apply oneself. It was especially hard in September, as we had come back from six months of work experience and three months of Summer holidays. I don’t think most of us got back into a proper routine since! Apparently they’re changing the course layout next year. With the course still relatively new, I suppose there will be continuous changes throughout. I’m not sure if there is a way of improving the transition from work experience to forth year, but I do feel there are certain subjects that should have been taught in previous years, not the final year.

Anywho, I feel it’s time for some tea. I will continue with this and I will make it more structured. Promise :-)
