Earth Hour is taking place this Saturday, March 28th and will start at 8.30pm local time. It’s a fantastic idea and been running since 2007. So many cities across the globe are taking part, with buildings such as The Empire State Building, The Petronis Towers, The Great Pyramids of Giza and The Lourve will be blacking out in the sake of out planet.

Saving as much resources as we can is a very important issue, an issue that still does not hit home with so many people. Simple things, like turning your television fully off instead of standby, make a difference. It makes a difference to your carbon footprint, as well as your next delightful electricity bill. Save money, save the planet :-)

Go to Earth Hour Website and vote EARTH. The aim is to reach one billion votes, which will then be presented to the world leaders at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen. This meeting is to determine official global policies to take action against global warming, which will replace the Kyoto Protocol

We can all make a difference!
